FLOTSAM

The ongoing environmental clean-up of the Superfund designated Gowanus Canal is good news, but what poisonous consequences have emerged in the process? Flotsam is a short expereimental film that imagines a present where living, working, and playing in or near the Gowanus is not a threat to human and non-human health, but also not a result of a corporate or developer takeover of the neighborhood, or an erasure of its past.  Watch here
