ABOUT
With a focus on environmental and community development work, I use video and digital media to support mission-driven organizations and projects.
As a Video Producer for the International Institute for Sustainable Development Reporting Services, I covered environment and development stories, including United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations. I was IISD RS's Video Team Leader at the 2015 Paris Climate Talks, where my colleagues and I produced more than 30 short videos for various clients over the course of the landmark conference.
My freelance clients have included NYC Department of Transportation, Project for Public Spaces, Louis Armstrong House Museum, The Better Bike Share Partnership, and the Institute for Transportation Development and Policy. I've held communications staff positions at Streetfilms and Bike New York and am currently pursuing an MFA in Integrated Media Arts at Hunter College, where I was a Lab Instructor for the undergraduate production class, Film and Media in a Digital Age.
My work has screened at DOC NYC, the Rockaway Film Festival, Justice Film Festival, MASSMoCA, The Brooklyn Museum, Eyebeam Art + Technology Center and in classrooms and community spaces across the country. My videos have been featured in many digital publications including The Atlantic, Upworthy, MoMA.org, Grist, CityLab, Momentum Magazine, Next City, and Huffington Post.
I live in Bozeman, Montana with my partner, Adam, and our kiddo. Pieces of my heart are also in Brooklyn, NY, and the Virginia foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
